Privacy Policy
What happens to the information you give me, in plain language.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what happens to the information you give me through surajdonthi.com — when you book a call, request a Product Audit, or email me. It also covers the information you share with me during an engagement that follows from it.
What I collect
Only what I need to talk to you and do the work:
- Your name and email address, when you book a call or request an audit.
- What you tell me about your product — your answers to the questions before a call, and anything you share with me during an engagement.
- Payment details, when you pay for an engagement. These go straight to the payment provider. I never see or store your card number.
How I use it
To reply to you, run the call, carry out the engagement you asked for, send you the work that comes out of it, and take payment.
- I do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
- I do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
- I do not use your information to build a profile of you.
What you tell me about your product
It stays confidential. I will not use your product, your users, your numbers or your plans as a public example, a case study or a testimonial without asking you first and getting a yes.
Who else sees it
Only the services I need to run the work — scheduling, email and payments — and my own team, where an engagement requires it. Everyone working on your product is bound by the same confidentiality I am.
Payments are processed by a licensed payment aggregator — Razorpay within India, Skydo for international payments. They handle your card and bank details; I never see or store them.
Calls are scheduled through Cal.com, and email runs on Google Workspace. Each of them sees only what it needs to do its job.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no analytics and no tracking cookies of its own. Nothing here follows you around the internet.
Booking a call goes through Cal.com, which may set cookies of its own to make the booking work. Those are covered by Cal.com’s privacy policy, not this one.
If any of that changes, this page changes with it before it does.
How long I keep it
I do not keep things longer than I need them.
- Enquiries that did not turn into work — 12 months.
- Engagement material, including audits, notes, documents and code — 3 years after the work ends.
- Invoices and payment records — 8 years. That one is not my choice; Indian tax and company law require it.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@surajdonthi.com and I will act on it — no form, no process. If you ask me to delete everything, I will, apart from payment records I am required to keep.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the bottom of this page changes with it. Nothing here applies backwards to information you have already given me.
How to contact me
Email hello@surajdonthi.com. It reaches me directly.
